WHAT IS THE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PLAN?

Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan Senior Care Options (SCO) is committed to improving the quality of medical and behavioral health care to our members. It was created to support members in making healthy choices and better informed health care decisions. The Quality Improvement Program focuses on promoting wellness in members while also continuously monitoring data for opportunities for improvement.

The Quality Improvement Program is designed to meet the following goals:

  • Improve the quality of care and coordination of services across the medical, behavioral health and psychosocial continuum of person centered care.
  • Achieve optimal health and health care for all members.
  • Improve the quality and safety of medical and behavioral health care.
  • Improve the administrative and programmatic services that members receive.
  • Deliver high quality services through the provider network.
  • Attain high levels of satisfaction for members, providers and other stakeholders.
